He trained at Bretton Hall. Since graduating in 2002 he has worked extensively in theatre (drama, Shakespeare, musicals, pantomimes, kids shows), and television (soaps, dramas, commercials).
Theatre credits include; national tours of Blood Brothers, The Taming of the Shrew, Macbeth, and Gentle Harry’s Farm; rep season in How The Other Half Loves, Out Of Order and September Tide (all Southwold/Aldeburgh); plus productions of A Right Royal Revue, The Love Gala, Alchemy, Penned Up (all Bury St Edmunds), Woman in Mind (Stevenage) A Permanent State of Emergency and A Christmas Cracker (both Hope Mill, Manchester) and Soul Traders (Edinburgh).
Television credits include: Coronation Street, A Touch of Frost, Emmerdale (as 4 different characters!), The Royal Today, My Parents Are Aliens and The Quest (all ITV); In The Dark, Crimewatch and The Chase (BBC); Free Rein (Netflix); and as around 13(!) different characters in Hollyoaks (Channel 4). He has also been a guest presenter on The One Show (BBC).
Commercials include: Tesco, Gillette, Samsung, EE, Ford, Co-op, American Golf, Alpen, Lighterlife, AXA, Philips, DHL, Kutchenhaus, DFS, Open Study College, Redds, Brighthouse, Halfords, FreeAgent, Trivago, and Ronseal (Chris did exactly what it said on the tin).
Pantomimes include seasons in: Manchester, Lincoln, Bury St Edmunds, Harrogate, Swindon, Peterborough, Tewkesbury, Kendal, Coventry, Billingham, Cannock and Stevenage amongst others.
Chris also works as a voice over (with a state-of-the-art studio at home), a presenter and a close-up magician. He’s rugby mad and is a fourth generation Leicester Tigers supporter.
